Jen’s transformation uses rich floral wallpaper, our Burford fitted furniture in Juniper Green, and warm brass details which gives this family bathroom its inviting feel. The transformation also makes the most of a compact space and brings practical storage into the heart of the design. The result is a room full of character that works just as well for busy family mornings as it does for a quiet moment to unwind.
"We always knew we wanted to add a busy wallpaper to give the small space some impact and make it feel cosy and inviting. But we also needed the room to be more practical, so I originally sketched out a vanity unit. I knew there was lots of hidden storage potential around the sink and toilet, and that a worktop would really help us make the most of the space."

"It had no storage, so everything was kept in boxes or on shelves, which made the room feel cluttered. Anything else had to be stored in another room, which wasn’t always practical. I’m a true believer in having the best of both worlds: form and function."
"Before we found the Roper Rhodes vanity unit, we tried to build one ourselves, but it was an absolute fail! We couldn’t get the cupboards to fit the way we wanted, and then we couldn’t source a small piece of stone for the worktop (who knew most suppliers had a minimum order size?). So we lived with a half-baked DIY project for well over six months until we found the beautiful Roper Rhodes unit, which was even better than my original sketch (of course). Hallelujah!"
"The warm, deep tones and soft lighting really create a lovely atmosphere. Even when two small children come and crash your shower, it still feels pretty special."
