Testing Details

Furniture & Fitted

Hinges & Runners: Hinges tested up to 80,000 cycles; drawer runners subjected to 50,000 cycles.

Wall Hanging Brackets: Tested up to 200-260kgs through a hydraulic ram.

Paint Adhesion & Hardness: Tested until failure to ISO standard.

Corrosion Test: Accelerated corrosion test on knobs and handles.

Sanitaryware (Ceramics)

Seat Drop Test: Dropping 75kg from 30mm 15,000 times.

Flush Volume: Measured discharge never exceeds 6L; reduced flush does not exceed 2/3 full volume.

Maximum Performance: Cisterns passed a 200,000 cycle endurance test. Faber WC pans feature a whisper quiet, water-saving Vortex flushing system.

Brassware (Taps)

Pressure Tested: To 10bar (BS EN 200: 2008).

Endurance Testing: Handles/valves cycled up to 100,000 times. Temperature Control: Stability tested (BS EN 1111 & 1287) to prevent scalding.

Corrosion Test: Salt spray testing (ISO/EN 248:2002).

WRAS Approved components are used across our tap ranges.

Bathing (Tubs)

Individually constructed and evaluated for material quality, structure, and shape. Our acrylic tubs feature a double layer of acrylic and a middle reinforcement layer for better insulation, robustness, and a smoother, glossier finish.

Mirrors & Cabinets

Switching Interface: Tested to 100,000 cycles.

Load Tests: Tested to hold a minimum of 10kg of extra weight for 10 days.
