Small Bathroom Design Challenge

We’re excited to invite you to take part in our Small Bathroom Design Challenge – a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity, gain national exposure, and be in with a chance of winning some brilliant prizes.
THE CHALLENGE
Small wonders
Using furniture from our Elan, Burford or Aruba fitted ranges, we’re asking retailers to design a bathroom within one of two typical small British bathroom footprints. Your entry should include a moodboard, a layout or visual using software of your choice, and a short explanation of your concept.
THE BRIEF
Design a stylish, functional bathroom using fitted furniture from our Elan, Burford, or Aruba ranges, within one of two typical UK bathroom footprints:

Option A: Very Narrow – 1700mm (L) x 1300mm (W)

Option B: Small – 1800mm (L) x 1800mm (W)
Your entry must include:
-
A moodboard showcasing your concept
-
A completed design layout or visual (use any software you prefer)
-
A short explanation of your concept and how you’ve optimised the space
Required Design Features
Your bathroom design must incorporate a selection of core fitted furniture components to demonstrate practicality, storage potential, and design coherence within a small space. Specifically, we ask that you include a 600mm Sit On Countertop Unit, offering a sleek surface and basin solution ideal for compact layouts. A Tall Drawer Unit should also feature, showcasing vertical storage and the ability to maximise usable space without compromising floor area. To complete the scheme, you may wish to include a Wall Cupboard to illustrate clever use of wall space and accessible storage, as well as a WC, integrated into the layout to reflect real-life functionality.

How to enter

Eligibility:
The competition is open to UK and Irish bathroom retailers with an active Roper Rhodes trade account. Entries must be submitted by a registered business representative aged 18 or over. -
Entry Requirements:
Each entry must include:-
A moodboard illustrating the design concept

A completed bathroom design using software of your choice
-
A brief written explanation of the design and how it optimises space
Designs must incorporate fitted furniture from one or more of the following Roper Rhodes ranges: Elan, Burford, or Aruba, and include a WC. Submissions must be based on one of two specified bathroom footprints:

Submission:
All entries must be submitted via the dedicated Roper Rhodes competition landing page. Entrants will be required to provide their Roper Rhodes account number at the time of entry. -
Closing Date:
The deadline for submissions is May 31st 2025. Late entries will not be accepted. -
Judging Criteria:
Entries will be assessed by a Roper Rhodes judging panel based on:-
Innovative use of space

Styling, trend awareness, and overall design cohesion

Marketing & Promotion:
By entering the competition, participants grant Roper Rhodes the right to use submitted designs, moodboards, written content, and related imagery in full or in part for marketing and promotional purposes. This may include but is not limited to digital platforms (website, social media), printed materials, press, and trade communications. -
Intellectual Property:
Participants confirm that all submitted designs are their original work. Roper Rhodes accepts no responsibility for any third-party claims of copyright infringement. -
General:
Roper Rhodes reserves the right to amend or cancel the competition at any time. The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. -
