When Cara and her family moved into their home nearly four years ago, the bathroom stood frozen in time - likely unchanged since the 1950s. With no shower in the house and three growing boys, daily life revolved around the impracticality of bath-only routines. The quirky layout made designing a functional, modern space a challenge, but the transformation has been worth every effort. Today, the once-dated suite is a classy and sophisticated, practical haven that perfectly fits their busy family life.

The space needed to be modernised and aside from that we didn't have a shower in the house! We have three growing boys and it wasn't practical to be using a bath everyday. It is a bit of a quirky space so it was challenging to make things work but I love how it has turned out."
"I just love the shower. There is something about a huge shower head to gentle wash away the day! It is all such a calming space that is also practical for our large family of 5!"
"Our kitchen features similar colours and marble. For me I like a home that has a coherent aesthetic and so I wanted to incorporate some of the other aspects of the house in the bathroom design"
